Dial into “Crossroads” this Sunday

Dennis Smith, a member of the Veterans Treatment Court mentor team, will be the featured guest on “Crossroads” this Sunday, July 2. Program host Rev. Jonathan D. Lawrence, PhD, speaks with Smith about the mentor group, which is vital to the success of veteran defendants struggling with substance dependency and/or mental illness. Additionally, Smith will discuss his journey into joining the Baha’i religious community.

“Crossroads” is a monthly radio program produced by the Network of Religious Communities.  It airs on the first Sunday of each month at 6:00 a.m. on MIX-96 (96.1 FM) and at 6:30 a.m. on JACK-FM (92.9).

In case you miss Sunday’s broadcast, the July program will be available on the Canisius SoundCloud beginning Wednesday, July 5.

Jonathan Lawrence is filling in as the “Crossroads” program host while Rev. Patrick Lynch, SJ, is on sabbatical. Lawrence is associate professor of religious studies and theology at Canisius and director of the Religion in Western New York Project.
