The Canisius College Rifle Team competed in the Mid-Atlantic Conference Rifle Championships and the National Rifle Association (NRA) Intercollegiate Nationals this spring in Lexington, VA and Ft. Benning, GA, respectively. The team placed second in the varsity smallbore of the marksman division in the MAC competition and ninth in the team smallbore division at the NRA championships. Team members are Jeffrey Donovan ’17, Jared Westhoven ’19, Lauren Reno ’19 and Elias Lipka ’19. Scott Clark, director of user services and Sgt. Barth Payne Jr., traveled with the team.
