Students completing their capstone in kinesiology recently visited Vive La Casa to learn more about services provided to refugees and asylum seekers from around the world.   A presentation and tour of the facility was provided by Sister Mary.

In addition, students learned about different ways to help this organization through clothing donations, English language tutoring and other services.  A special thanks goes to Joe Van Volkenburg for assisting Clancy Seymour, EdD, in the planning of this rewarding experience.

Vive La Casa, the largest shelter for international refugees on the US-Canadian border, houses, feeds and provides legal and medical support to its visitors.
