Busy Wednesday Planned for Athletics

It will be a busy Wednesday on the athletic front this week. Both the women’s soccer and volleyball teams are hosting important conference games on October 28.

Women’s soccer closes out its regular season by trying to win its third game over the past five outings. Rider visits the Demske Sports Complex for the 4:00 p.m. clash.

At 7:00 p.m., the volleyball team tries to stay hot as they host Battle of the Bridge opponent Niagara University at the Koessler Athletic Center. The Eagles won the matchup earlier this season however, Canisius enters the fray having won three of its previous four matches.

A Canisius win would tie the Canal Cup battle at three points apiece.
