Your Golden Griffin men’s basketball team returns to the friendly confines of the Koessler Center this weekend for a pair of key Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference contests. Canisius is currently locked in a fifth place tie with Quinnipiac for the final first round tournament bye. Both have 7-7 league records.
On Friday, February 13, Canisius hosts Rider at 7:00 p.m., while on Sunday your Griffs meet St. Peter’s at 2:00 p.m. The Broncs reside in second place with a 10-4 league mark, while St. Peter’s occupies eighth with a 5-8 record. Sunday is the annual P.A.L. outing with approximately 100 elementary age children expected to attend.
