“Griffin Week” Tips Off Friday Night

The annual “Griffin Week,” presented by UNYTS, tips off Friday night, February 20, when your Canisius women’s basketball team hosts Rider at 7 p.m. in the Koessler Athletic Center. Tumblers will be given to the first 100 students who attend. Also, “Griffin Week” t-shirts will be on sale this week and next at the C-Block Office. The cost of the shirts is $3.00 for students; $5.00 for staff. This year’s design includes an image of Petey with the words “In Petey We Trust.”

For more information on all of “Griffin Week” activities, visit GoGriffs.com.

Faculty and staff are reminded of two things for “Griffin Week.” If you are planning to attend the basketball double-header vs. Niagara games on Tuesday, tickets are limited. Less than 125 remain for the game.

Also, all faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in the UNYTS Blood Drive scheduled for next Monday, February 23 and Tuesday, February 24. This is an annual competition versus Niagara and donations from faculty and staff are welcome and encouraged.
