If your Easter weekend includes some sports entertainment, then the Demske Sports Complex is the place for you and your loved ones.
Kicking off the day’s activities is a women’s lacrosse contest between Canisius and Monmouth. The game starts at 11:00 a.m. and has enormous playoff implications for both teams. Your Griffs currently reside in third place in the league with a 4-1 mark, while the Hawks are nipping at their heels with a 3-1 MAAC record.
Once that contest concludes, the men’s team will take the field for a 2:00 p.m. Senior Day affair against visiting VMI. The Keydets are no longer in the MAAC, however momentum for reaching the conference playoffs will be a key motivator for Randy Mearns’ squad.
Finally, the day concludes with softball playing a 5:00 p.m. conference twin bill against the first-place Siena Saints.
