Your Canisius baseball team takes a break from conference play on Wednesday when it plays host to the University of Akron. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Demske Sports Complex.
Canisius is currently 19-10 overall, while Akron is 14-14, prior to a game tonight at the university of Pittsburgh. The Zips knocked off the Griffs in extra innings last Wednesday by the score of 2-1.
