Your Canisius softball team continues its six game homestand this weekend with four conference contests. The Griffs will meet Fairfield in a twin bill on Saturday with first pitch slated for 3 p.m., and then battle Iona in a Sunday doubleheader that starts at noon. The games will be the Griffs first MAAC games of the season.
Fairfield was the coaches’ preseason pick to finish second in the league this year, while Iona is already off to a 2-0 start in conference play
