The Andrew L. Bouwhuis Library will host a commemoration of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs & Freedom with a reading of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s powerful, “I Have A Dream…” speech.

The program will be held on the 50th Anniversary of the event– Wednesday, August 28 at 3 p.m. in the lower level of the ALB Library. Copies of the speech will be available for those who wish to read aloud from the speech that day. Text of Dr. King’s speech is available here

Throughout the day, please visit the library and complete the sentence “I have a dream…” by writing their thought on specially created forms to be hung throughout the library.
