Your Canisius (28-10) baseball team hosts Marist in a key weekend series at the Demske Sports Complex. The Griffs currently reside in fourth place in the MAAC with a 7-5 league mark, while Marist sits a spot ahead with an 11-4 league record. The top four teams qualify for the MAAC tournament over Memorial Day weekend.
Saturday’s twin bill starts at 2 p.m. while Sunday’s single game will star at noon. The Canisius basketball and hockey staffs will host a cook-out for members of C-Block during the first game on Saturday.
The Griffs and Red Foxes are the top two offensive teams in the league, while their pitching staffs run second and third.
