April 11-19 marks the third annual Canisius College Wellness Week. All throughout the week there will be programs supporting the goals of the  Fuel Your Mind, Body, and Spirit campaign coordinated by the office of Campus Programming & Leadership Development.

Some highlights of the week include:

Tuesday, 4/16 – “Eat Right. Feel Good. Look Great!” presented by Deanna Latson at 7pm in the Regis Room. During her presentation Deanna transforms audiences with amazing health information. After she suffered with bulimia, excess weight and chronic illness, Deanna dramatically restored herself to great health within one college year she will tell listeners how to do the same. This presentation is sponsored by the Fitzpatrick Institute of Public Affairs and Leadership.

Wednesday, 4/17 – 3rd Annual Wellness Fair and 7th Annual Locks of Love & Goin’ Bald for Bucks Challenge from 11am to 2pm in the Economou Dining Hall. Vendors from both on and off campus will host tables. Those who visit each table will be entered to win a $100 wellness-themed gift basket! The Wellness Fair is free and open to the entire Canisius community.

Thursday, 4/18 – Stress-Less Day sponsored by the Counseling Center. Stop by Penfold Commons between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to relax and melt your stress away!
