Calendar/Planners Are Here

Project Management Basics Course Open to Canisius Community

The Center for Professional Development (CPD) will offer a one-day workshop on Project Management Basics on Thursday, September 13 from 9:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m. at the CPD in Amherst. This course provides participants with an overview of the essential elements of project management and the project management life cycle. Participants gain an understanding of the techniques and practice of project management; and gain practical experience with approaches to achieving successful project performance. Revised Times for New Faculty Orientation

The following dates and times apply to the orientation events , which are open to all faculty and professional staff:

Monday, August 20

• 10:00 a.m. Ignatian Convocation: Introduction to Canisius College’s Mission and Identity in Montante Main Hall
• 1:30-3:00 p.m. – Information Fair: Speak with representative of offices that support teaching and learning in Montante Main Hall.
• 4:30-4:30 p.m. – Picnic at the Buffalo Zoo with Canisius Families (Dinner served at 6:15 p.m.)

Tuesday, August 21

• 8:30-9:45 a.m. – Meet the Faculty Coffee Hour in the Old Main Faculty Lounge.
