The Canisius College Chorale, under the direction of Frank Scinta, will continue its 2011 Sacred Spaces concert series with two programs:
On Saturday (December 3), the annual Winter Concert and Carol Sing will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. On Sunday (December 4), the fourth Sacred Spaces Concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Annunciation Church, 7580 Clinton Street in Elma.
The concerts will feature works by Handel, Lotti, Hogan, Dawson and others. Admission is free to both events.
Sacred Spaces stems from an idea the choir proposed seven years ago to feature its music in some of Western New York’s most beautiful and acoustically resonant environments – namely, the sanctuaries of our area’s churches.
