myCanisius, a new campus portal website, is now in beta testing with a select group of approximately 30 Canisius students.  The portal will be available for all students at the start of the Fall semester.

It is designed to make online campus tools, messages, resources, news and information centrally available online on one screen with one sign-on.  Users will be able to directly access Email, SCT Banner resources, ANGEL and other online tools without having to independently log into those separate websites.  Also, users will receive custom messaging that will notify them of registration holds, overdue bills, advisement alerts and more.

A myCanisius portal designed for faculty and staff will launch during the Fall semester.  myCanisius is being implement by Information Technology Services (ITS) under the leadership of Walter Drabek, Director of Administrative Computing, in collaboration with a group of Canisius administrators, faculty and students.  The portal uses software developed by the CampusEAI Consortium and was purchased by the college under a grant arrangement with CampusEAI.
