Welcome back from the Media Center! This winter break saw work completed in a select number of classrooms, as well as some changes to the Media Center’s Web site.

In order to help faculty find information about our classrooms, a new shortcut to the What’s In My Classroom page was created here. The page has also been slightly reworked and more changes are planned to further enhance this section of the Web site.

The most noticeable classroom upgrade occurred in OM 304. Upgraded from a Level 1 to a Level 3 classroom, OM 304 now features a ceiling-mounted LCD projector, resident PC computer, laptop connectivity, and an ELMO P10 document camera. For added flexibility, this room houses the equipment on a moveable cart, as opposed to a traditional lectern configuration. DVD playback and display of the document camera are both handled by the resident computer. Other classrooms upgraded include HO 109, OM 201, OM 408, and OM 422. More information on these upgrades can be found on the Media Center’s What’s New page.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns about instructional technology in the classroom or would like to schedule training, please contact Bob Grabowski at Ext. 3278 or Dan Drew at Ext. 2569.
