With school back in session, vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Main Street, and on other streets surrounding our campus, has increased. Main Street has three lanes of traffic in each direction and there have been some vehicle/pedestrian mishaps in the past several years.
Please, when crossing streets:
- Cross only at corners or in crosswalks.
- Assume vehicles don’t see you or have no intention of yielding to your right of way.
- At signals, wait for the pedestrian crossing cycle.
- Refrain from cell phone use, applying full attention to the task of crossing.
