Canisius to Commemorate Constitution Day
On Thursday, October 7, the Frank G. Raichle Pre-Law Center and the Charles S. Desmond pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta will mark the college’s annual commemoration of Constitution Day. Members of Phi Alpha Delta will be located at a table just inside the entrance to the library, and will distribute pocket Constitutions to members of the campus community from 9:30-11:00 a.m.. The U.S. Congress approved the declaration of Constitution Day in 2005 in response to legislative efforts to formally recognize the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787.
