This year’s annual fundraising campaign for the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County is almost upon us! This year’s campaign will take place from October 1-November 18.
For those who may not be aware, Canisius participates in this fundraising campaign each year to assist the United Way in helping those in need in our community, as well as allowing them to do the work that no one nonprofit can do alone. Thanks to you, the United Way can identify the areas of most need, tackle those issues head on and promote volunteerism and engagement throughout the community.
Be sure to keep an eye on “The Dome” for upcoming raffles and events, such as the weekly prize basket raffle and the second annual United Way Chili Cook-Off. The committee is currently calling for volunteers to make their best chili recipes for the event.
