The next installment in the Golden Griffins Counseling Seminar Series will be Tuesday, June 2nd!
Presented by Peg Crawford, (LMHC, CASAC, NCC), the seminar is entitled “Integrating Counseling and Energy Healing.” This seminar will focus on the use of Energy Therapies in conjunction with counseling. There is increasing evidence that various forms of Energy Therapy – including Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Sound Healing, and other vibrational healing techniques – can be helpful in reducing and managing mental health symptoms. In this seminar, participants will be introduced to these techniques with the opportunity to observe and experience various forms of energy therapy. A discussion will be led on how to best integrate these into counseling sessions.
Peg Crawford is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She has been practicing for almost 40 years and recently retired as supervisor of PROS at Mid-Erie Counseling and Treatment services. She currently has a private practice in counseling, healing and coaching. She is a Reiki Master Teacher and has been teaching Reiki for over 10 years. She has her Level 2 Certification in Sound Healing with Tibetan Singing Bowls and has recently completed her certification as a Law of Attraction Coach and Trainer. She regularly practices meditation and EFT.
