Focus: Desire2Learn

The workshop schedule for Desire2Learn is posted in FacTS Center registration. The schedule has changed from its previous focus of the same session three times a week to a different format because of the short schedule in December. The four sessions on Introduction and Email, Content and Discussion Forums, Drop Boxes and Grade Book, and Quizzes will now be offered each week. This provides you the opportunity to go through the entire program in a single week. Each session is an hour long and will be held in OM-115.

Boot Camp

The FacTS Center will offer a two-day workshop based on the four modules listed above but will provide participants the opportunity to work on building your course. The FacTS Center staff will be available to answer questions and assist in your course development. You can also register for our Boot Camp using the above link for Facts Center Registration. The Boot Camp is an ideal way for faculty teaching in the summer session to prepare for their classes. It too, will be held in OM-115.

Remember, you can attend these sessions more than once should you wish to do so. Bring your questions; we’ll assist you to resolve them.

Also, remember that ANGEL will be gone by the end of May and D2L will be the only learning management system available to faculty and students.
