Going into 2023 Major League Baseball looked to make a change to increase offensive output. They decided to restrict where the fielding team could stand to help hitters produce at a higher rate. How much did this rule change truly affect hitters? We will focus on batting averages to see the impact that one rule change showed on the entire league.
This is very interesting. There seem to be evolving rules within sports and it always interests me how the change of the rules affects the game. I cannot wait to be exposed to the impact that these rule changes have had on the sport of Baseball!!

I am very interested to hear about your talk Andrew. I am not the worlds biggest baseball fan, although I do love going to games for the food and the fireworks and my cousin was the bat boy for the Bisons and Blue Jays for a while. My dad and brother also talk about baseball religiously so hopefully I’ll be able to educate them on stuff I learned!
