Please encourage your students to join the LEGO Makerspace set for Tuesday, February 16 in the Library from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Substantial progress was made last semester and there is still much work to do on the Hogwarts Castle. We had a lovely turnout for the Virtual Makerspace over the winter break and have more planned for the spring. Pictured below is Anne Aka’s ocelot.

Anne Aka. ocelot. Makerspace. January 2021.jpgMakerspace is a place where students can create physical or digital items in common work spaces, using shared resources and equipment. Makerspaces are meant to be a mechanism for encouraging students to explore and learn outside the classroom.
