The men’s lacrosse team earned its third Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) championship on Saturday, May 5 with a 10-9 overtime victory against Detroit Mercy.  The win gives the Golden Griffins an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.  They’ll play host to Northeast Conference champion Robert Morris on Wednesday, May 9 at 4:00 p.m. in the Demske Sports Complex for the opening round of the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship.

Tickets for the  game are on sale now: $10 for adults and $5 for children (18 and under). They can be purchased online through, by calling the Canisius Ticket Office at (716) 888-TIXX, or by stopping by the Ticket Office in the main lobby of the Koessler Athletic Center between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Tickets will also be sold at the ticket office on Wednesday, May 9, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and will  be available at the gate.

If you can’t make it to the game to cheer on the Golden Griffins, you can still show your support by donning your best Blue & Gold gear on Wednesday!
