Faculty, staff, family members, students and alumni are invited to join the Office of Campus Ministry and the Buffalo Burrito Project on Tuesday, June 27 and Tuesday, July 25.

The Burrito Project is a ministry of hospitality and provides homemade burritos to the marginalized and homeless population in downtown Buffalo. This ministry serves some of God’s most vulnerable and forgotten children.

Burritos will be prepared in the kitchen located in the undercroft of Christ the King Chapel from 6:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. From 7:15 p.m. – 8:45 p.m., the group will walk a four-mile route and serve burritos, snacks and cold drinks. A college van follows the team as we walk.  (Please note time change-we ask you to come to the Undercroft at 6:15pm and not at 6:00 pm as this time frame works best to serve those in need.)

You may choose to help prepare the burritos, prepare and serve or just serve. Most people prepare and serve.

To sign-up, email Joe Van Volkenburg at vanvolkj@canisius.edu with your name and cell number.
