Registration is now open for the 18th Annual Canisius College Shoes for the Shelter 5K, presented by Independent Health. To enter, visit www.GoGriffs.com and click on the Shoes 5K icon located at the bottom of the front page. Faculty, staff and students all receive a discount when registering early.
This year’s run is slated for Sunday, April 10 and begins and ends near the corner of Main and Delavan. A post-race feast is provided by Chartwells, along with a great yogurt bar from the Hyatt Regency.
Whether or not you are a walker, jogger or runner, we are always accepting any type of shoe for St. Vincent DePaul. Approximately 32,000 pairs of shoes have been collected over the many years of the event. Shoes may be dropped off anytime at the Koessler Athletic Center Room 181.
