Four of the most exciting nights of the year occur this week when Canisius hosts the men’s and women’s MAAC Swimming and Diving Championships at the Flickinger Center in downtown Buffalo. This event, in front of large and passionate crowds, is worth the price of admission as your Golden Griffins match their best efforts against the rest of the conference.
The meet starts Wednesday February 10 at 6:00 p.m. and continues through Saturday, February 13. Preliminary events are contested from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, while the championship races start each evening at 6:00 p.m.
So, if you are looking for some intense action in what might be the warmest place in Buffalo this weekend, head on down to “The Flick” and root for the Griffs.
