The JUSTICE Project has several upcoming events!  Once a month, the JUSTICE Project hosts professional development sessions in Grupp Fireside Lounge.  This year’s topic is positive behavior intervention and supports.  Below are the dates for our remaining sessions:

  • February 24, 2016, 4:30-7:00: Panel Presentations: PBIS Success Stories
  • March 9, 2016, 4:30-7:00: Panel Presentations: Working with Parents to Optimize Well-Behaved Children Inside and Outside of School
  • April 20, 2016, 4:30-7:00: Showcase of Teacher Inquiry Projects Focused on PBIS

In addition to these presentations, we are excited to welcome a Canisius College alumna, Carrie Cariello ’01, on March 23, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  Carrie delivers presentations to teachers, students, and families all over the country about her life and experiences with autism.  She speaks about the books that she has written and her experiences as a mother of a son with autism. Join us to learn more about working with children with autism and gain an understanding of parents’ perspectives!

We hope to see you at some of these sessions!
