New Faculty Orientation will take place August 23-25 with several opportunities to welcome the college’s newest faculty members to campus on Monday, August 23 and Tuesday, August 24.
All are invited to attend a “Meet the Faculty” continental breakfast and coffee hour on Tuesday, August 24 at 8:30 a.m. in the Faculty Lounge in Old Main. A reception with Canisius President John J. Hurley will be held Tuesday, August 24 at 4:30 p.m. in the reception area of Montante Cultural Center.
In addition, the young families of new faculty will be hosted during a picnic at the Buffalo Zoo on Monday, August 23 at 5 p.m. Anyone wishing to join the picnic should contact the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) at Ext. 3720 or Email at cowardp@canisius.edu to let CTE know how many family members will be attending.
