This is a series of four short videos that explain how large languages models, such as ChatGPT work “under the hood”.   These are meant for a non-technical audience, but do go into the concepts and principles that these models operate on.   There are four videos cover the background information on Artificial Intelligence, Neural Network models and Large Languages Models (NLP) using neural nets.  The last video discusses the limitations of generative models of language.
