Yesterday, Tuesday 10/25, Dr. Bisson introduced Squirrel Girl and binary numbers. Ever think you could count past five on one hand? Dr. Bisson taught us how to count to 31 on one hand– and yes, a hand with only five fingers! The students quickly organized themselves into groups to further investigate binary numbers. A few students even calculated multiple powers of 2 and shared them on the board. Next week, we will have a guest to help us explore the game of chess. We look forward to seeing all of you then!
