Breakfast with Santa

The Office of the President welcomes all campus faculty and staff and their families to the annual Breakfast with Santa event on Saturday, December 14 at 10:00 a.m. in the Student Center Dining Hall. The morning includes a full breakfast, photos with Santa, arts and crafts, cookie decorating and a holiday performance by Sydnie Perkins, assistant director of communications, virtual engagement and data for alumni engagement.

The cost is $15 per person (ages 13 and older) and $7 for children 12 and under. To register and pay online, click here.

It’s Trivia Wednesday!

The campus community is invited to watch The Dome for special “Trivia Wednesdays” which will be published throughout the school year in every Wednesday edition. The first person to respond to pubrel@canisius.edu with the correct answer will win Canisius “swag.” Additionally, once a month on Wednesdays, there will be a special giveaway in which the winner will receive some of the newly-designed Canisius Sesquicentennial gear.

Winners will be announced the following Wednesday of each week along with the correct trivia answer.

Several media outlets interviewed Canisius President John J. Hurley in recent days, amid reports of the retirement of Buffalo Bishop Richard Malone and the upcoming Movement to Restore Trust symposium on how to move forward. Those media outlets include The New York Times , The Wall Street Journal, The Hill , Spirit Daily, The Buffalo News , WBEN-AM, WIVB-TV Channel 4 and WGRZ-TV Channel 2.

The Dome

Today, Monday, November 25, is the last day that The Dome will run prior to Thanksgiving break.

The Dome will resume its normal schedule on Wednesday, December 4.
