— the official opening of the Golisano Center for Student Success

Following brief remarks, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to view the new space and see firsthand how the Center for Student Success will support our students.
Made possible through a gift from Rochester entrepreneur and philanthropist B. Thomas Golisano, the new center brings together key student support services in one centralized space designed to help students thrive and reach their full potential.
We look forward to celebrating together — be sure to wear your blue and gold!

The “Befriend Yourself” workshop is part of the Counseling Center’s “StressLess Week” taking place next week.
While the week is especially geared toward students, all members of the Canisius community — including staff, faculty and students — are welcome to attend the workshop in Old Main 219.

The Canisius University Borders & Migrations Initiative presents a bilingual poetry reading and Q&A with poet Conrado Zepeda Pallares on Wednesday, March 25 at 12:00 p.m. The event will take place in the Library Learning Center and is free and open to the public.
Zepeda Pallares will read in both English and Spanish from his newest collection of poetry, followed by a moderated question-and-answer session. The reading will explore themes of migration, identity and queer experience, offering insight into how movement across borders shapes personal and collective narratives.
During the event, Zepeda Pallares will share selections from his latest work and discuss the creative and lived experiences that inform his writing.
