Our admissions team continues to make great progress with the Fall 2026 class and has received 156 deposits to date, with more coming in every day! As we move deeper into yield season, counselors are actively connecting with admitted students to provide them with experiences to help picture themselves as Griffs.
We’re also looking ahead to Accepted Students Day on March 28, which is one of the most important opportunities for admitted students to experience campus, meet faculty, and connect with the community that makes Canisius special.
As always, the support of our faculty and campus colleagues plays a vital role in this process. When students hear a unified message about the strength of the Canisius experience, it reinforces their confidence in choosing Canisius.
Transfer enrollment is beginning to pick up as well, with 12 deposits. Showing strong growth from this point last year and this is continued to be expected as see year over year growth in our Transfer enrollment.
Thank you for continuing to support as we work together to welcome the next class of Griffs.
Warmly,
Sarah Calzonetti

Last week, Canisius PA students joined 965 students from 15 health professions in 132 small discussion groups to explore the importance of knowing the roles of different healthcare providers, engaging in effective teamwork and communication, and the beneficial outcomes of collaborative healthcare practice.
This would not have been possible without the dedication of the faculty facilitators to this important IPE initiative, including several from the PA department. This event has a particular focus on the social determinants of health and how to better care for patients in the ZIP codes near the Canisius campus.
