WBEN-AM Radio 930 reported on two recent news stories at Canisius including the August 8 naming of the Golisano Center for Student Success, which recognizes Rochester philanthropist B. Thomas Golisano and his $5 million gift to Canisius. WBEN also reported on Canisius being named one of the best universities for transfer students by the Phi Kappa Honor Society, on August 12.
WGRZ-TV Channel 2 shared the August 13 news that the university is launching a new Sport Data Analytics program. The fully online, 12-credt advanced certificate launches this fall.
Rebecca Krawiec, PhD, chair of religious studies and theology, was interviewed on the August 14 podcast “Women Who Went Before.” Krawiec spoke about Christian women – from late antiquity who sought to transform their bodies inside and out: ascetics and monastics.
