With the latest D2L Update, there has been an issue with the D2L Quiz Grade Screen. Instructors can view not only their students but also administrators in the course, as seen in the image below:
There are two work arounds for this (see the original post in the COLI Blog for larger pictures):
Option 1: Change the Search Options/Filters
- In the Quiz Grade Screen, click on “Show Search Options”:
- Click on where it says “All users” under the “Restrict to” section:
- Select “Users who have completed an attempt” in the dropdown that appears (Note: This is typically the default setting):
- Click on the Magnifying Glass/Search Icon to confirm the new Search Filters/parameters (afterwards, click on Hide Search Options to get to the list of attempts faster):
Option 2: Go to the Attempts tab in the Quiz Grade Screen:
This will show all of the individual attempts taken by the student, listed first by Student First Name, A to Z and then by the completion time. If we would rather view the attempts by Last Name, A to Z, click on the black arrow to the right of “Learner”. Then, select Last Name, A to Z:
