President Steve Stoute spoke with The Toledo Blade about the cultural and economic impact of sports. He will sit alongside former NFL quarterback Andrew Luck and former NFL kicker Nick Lowery. Without the federal oversight of education standards through policy and curriculum, the ability to produce students able to compete for elite jobs in the global marketplace could be compromised, said the university’s director of graduate education and leadership.
