President Stoute to Receive Trailblazer Award

Canisius University President Steve Stoute will receive the prestigious Trailblazer Award from the Niagara Organizing Alliance for Hope (NOAH) at its “Night with the Stars” gala and auction on Saturday, October 26.  The Trailblazer Award recognizes individuals who exemplify NOAH’s mission to address local and regional issues of justice and equity through community building, negotiation with decision makers and direct action.  President Stoute is being recognized for his transformative leadership in higher education and his commitment to fostering inclusive community partnerships.

Bird Mask Makerspace

Makerspace will “roost” in the Andrew L. Bouwhuis, SJ Library this week to create bird masks. Join us and bring found items and all the arts and crafts materials you wish to share to build magnificent masks! We will contribute items too and look forward to seeing your masterpieces!

The event begins at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, and is free and open to all.
