Canisius University will kick off its fall 2024 Borders & Migrations Event Series on Wednesday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m. with a screening of “Green Border.” The film chronicles the plights of migrants caught in the Belarus-European Union border crisis. The event will take place in the Chester HON ‘01 and Diane Stranczek Commons in Science Hall and is free and open to the public.
The Borders and Migrations Event Series continues on Wednesday, October 16 with a panel discussion about “Green Border,” hosted virtually by the film’s Polish director Agnieszka Holland. The event is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in the Grupp Fireside Lounge located on the second floor of the Richard E. Winter ’42 Student Center and is also free and open to the public.
