Canisius Adult Lifelong Learners Institute (CALLI) is pleased to announce our new fall 2024 course: What is a Symphony?
Lead by Mason Cancilla, this six-week course will delve into a centuries-old musical template that is still used today. We will attempt to answer the question: “What is this mysterious art form and how do I listen to it?”
The course will look at musical form, instrumentation and how the modern orchestra evolved. This course is in-person on campus in SH 1017 and begins October 1 at 2:00 p.m. See the attached poster or our website for details.
