Canisius University’s Joseph J. Naples Conversations in Christ and Culture Lecture and Performance Series will welcome Nancy Rourke, PhD, to campus on Wednesday, September 25 for a 5:30 p.m. lecture titled “Ecological Moral Character: A Catholic Model.”
The lecture will take place in the Grupp Fireside Lounge of the Richard E. Winter ’42 Student Center and is free and open to the public.
Rourke is an assistant professor of religious studies at St. John Fisher University and former associate professor of religious studies and theology at Canisius, where she also served as director of the university’s Catholic Studies Program. Her scholarly interests and coursework include Catholic ethics, metaethics, ecological ethics, bioethics, healthcare ethics and virtue ethics.
