Canisius University is proud to be recognized by the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) for its exceptional support of transfer students. The institution is among 228 colleges and universities nationwide to earn a spot on PTK’s Transfer Honor Roll, which recognizes those schools that foster robust transfer pathways and empower community college students to achieve excellence and success in their academic pursuits.
The Transfer Honor Roll is determined by 40 key metrics related to the support and success of transfer students, including college cost and financial aid, campus life, admission practices and bachelor’s degree completion. This year’s honor roll recipients demonstrated outstanding outcomes in the following key areas: percent of transfer students into the undergraduate population; bachelor’s degree completion rates; the number of credits transferred toward a degree major; and the percent of transfer students receiving merit-based financial aid.
