Campus Ministry took a group of students to represent Canisius University on the national stage at the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice (IFTJ) in Washington DC this past weekend.
IFTJ is the largest annual Catholic social justice gathering in the United States and is a place for members of the Ignatian family (Jesuit institutions and larger church) to be empowered, re-energized, inspired, challenged, and supported by a community that sees faith and justice integrally linked. The Canisius group heard from inspiring speakers, attended breakout sessions on a variety of topics related to faith and justice, and were able to interact and network with organizations and other students from all over the country.
