A social gathering for international students, faculty, and staff at Canisius was hosted on Wednesday by International Student Programs, Office of Admissions and Physician Assistant Studies to help create a greater sense of community and connection.
At least 27 different countries from around the world were represented and attendees had a chance to samples some favorite snacks and treats from around the world as well as some good old fashioned Buffalo pizza.
Students also had a chance to hear from President Stoute about his experiences as an international student, the importance of community, and the commitment from Canisius to continue creating a more diverse and inclusive environment where people of all backgrounds can thrive.
