The Division of Academic Affairs in conjunction with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion has partnered with Native American Community Services to offer a training series addressing Native American culture, historical trauma, trauma-informed care and its relevance to institutions of higher education.
The session, entitled “Working with All Our Relations – A Journey Toward Exploration & Understanding Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion from an Indigenous Cultural Perspective,” will take place on Thursday, February 16, from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m . in the Grupp Fireside Lounge. The session will be facilitated by Pete Hill, special initiatives director for the Native American Community Services.
