Canisius College Athletics is set to host its National Girls & Women in Sports Day celebration on Saturday, February 4, as the women’s basketball team hosts Iona at 1:00 p.m. At the conclusion of the game, kids will be able to participate in playing a wide range of sports with Canisius’ female student-athletes. The clinic is free with a valid ticket to the game.
Stations will be set up around the Patrick Lee gymnasium where our student-athletes will teach some of the basics of their sport. The clinic will feature sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, rowing, running, and more! This is a great opportunity for kids to learn about new sports! Participants will be given a Canisius Athletics poster and have the ability to have it signed by the student-athletes present at the clinic.
