The division of Academic Affairs in conjunction with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion has partnered with Native American Community Services to offer a two-part training series addressing Native American culture, historical trauma, trauma-informed care and its relevance to institutions of higher education.

The two-part series, entitled “Working with All Our Relations – A Journey Toward Exploration & Understanding Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion from an Indigenous Cultural Perspective,” will take place on Wednesday, November 30, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and Thursday, February 16, from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.  Both sessions will be facilitated by Pete Hill, special initiatives director for the Native American Community Services.

Please consider attending with members of your office and/or departments.  These sessions will be offered in person and in a virtual format through Zoom.
