Renowned author Robin DiAngelo and East Buffalo resident and workshop facilitator Nanette D. Massey to lead Real Talk About Race hosted by Canisius College on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 10 am – 4 pm in the Montante Cultural Center.

The full-day workshop is led by the inter-racial team of DiAngelo, renowned author of the book, “White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism,” and Massey, East Buffalo resident and facilitator of the workshop “Moving BEYOND ‘White Fragility’: Honest and Effective Conversations About Race.”

DiAngelo and Massey bring 25 combined years of leadership in racial justice education. They will focus on the skills and perspectives needed to build racial stamina and create more racially just norms and practices in the workplace and in the community.

The workshop is free for faculty, staff and students with Canisius ID.  Lunch will be provided by TOPS Friendly Markets.  Click here to register. Please note, registration cut-off is 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, with no additional registrations taken at the door.
