The Canisius Adult Lifelong Learners Institute is pleased to announce the new course for the fall 2022 semester: “From Odysseus to Harry Potter: The Evolution of the Hero.”
Led by Robert Butler, PhD, professor emeritus of English, this six-week seminar will trace how patterns of heroism established in classical literature, particularly in The Odyssey, have been revived and modified by modern writers.
Enrollment is open to everyone! There are no papers or exams but a lot of good discussion!
