President Steve Stoute and Vice President for Student Affairs Harold Fields, EdD, hosted a reception for the Hamlin Park Community and Taxpayers Association last week.
Stephanie Geter, the president of the association, welcomed the new administrators to the neighborhood and Mayor Byron Brown spoke about the long and productive partnership between the city of Buffalo and Canisius College. Many city officials, including Masten District Council Member Ulysees Wingo, attended the event, as did the principal of Hamlin Park School, Patrick Cook, and Buffalo Board of Education Member Sharon Belton Cottman.
President Stoute fielded questions from guests and assured them that our campus would be an open and welcoming place for our neighbors.
